Sizing your profiles

To determine your part sizes, you need to first pick a vertical size for your part. Lets say a crown molding that is 8" vertically or 8" tall.

Using the drawing profile to the right the vertical number is 1 so 8 times 1 = 8 or in this case 8 inches which is the vertical size we choose. Now multiply the horizontal number by 8.  8 times .666 is 5.328 or roughly 5 and 5/16's of an inch. Your part will be 5 5/16" horizontally x 8" vertically. Use the conversion chart for all our parts.
